- All planning and scheduling of production schedules for all plants.
- Lead the Production staff and train them to ensure the needed competences are met to function optimally.

- Responsible for ensuring timeously preparation of all raw materials in-line with production planning as well as consistent availability of all raw material.
- Responsible for the accuracy of the compnay’s software inventory of all materials and products in the plant. Define and update appropriate minimum and maximum stocking levels for all products and materials.
- Responsible for accurately Booking on AS400 Production confirmation for Semi-Finish and Finish Goods for liquid and powder Plant.
- Organizes, supervises, and controls all the production operations according with Corporate and Local Procedures, instructions, and guidelines. Cooperates with the Quality Control department to verify if the manufactured products meet quality requirements.
- Assures a precise data record to have accurate inventory figures in the system and reliable production KPI in Efficiency Reports.
- Analyses inventory discrepancies and production KPI’s to minimize inefficiency and reduce production costs. Thereafter proactively makes proposals for KPI improvements.
- Responsible to keep equipment in good conditions. Daily checks if the production staff is operating according to the given instruction. Supervise Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, scheduling it with the relevant department and informing the Production team of potential safety and quality risks. Checks and equipment after Maintenance Activity.
- Investigate reasons for non-conformances of Semi-finished and Finished products, Raw Materials and Packaging. Thereafter assists in defining the root cause, the action plan, process of implementation and verification of necessary corrective actions.
- Actively takes part to feasibility, planning, execution, and evaluation of results of Industrial Tests, according to Corporate and Local Procedures.
- Ensures the use of the correct formula and packaging versions and informs, in a timely manner, all the involved functions.
- Assists with Quality Control and Product Managers in the determination of all obsolete raw materials and packaging to reduce wastes or unused stock.
- Oversees stock management of Finished Products, ensuring the correct turnover and manages the rules for releasing the material waiting for Quality Control’s approval.
- Supervises activities and performance of the available resources, verifying the suitability of competencies of staff, and provides feedback and suggestions to motivate continuous growth.
- Supervises the qualitative and quantitative adequacy of the headcount and takes part to the hiring process for choosing the right resources, in agreement with Unit Manager.
- In collaboration with HR dept. monitors absenteeism and other KPI’s.
- Manages conflicts within her/his team and with the staff of other departments. In agreement with Unit Manager and HR, in case of needs, takes disciplinary actions.
- Directly involved in the physical inventory process. Monitor and reduce inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy and reduce problems in the reporting of inventory transactions.
- Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities. Responsible to ensure that health and safety regulations and working procedures are met and that Personal Protection Equipment is properly used. Is responsible to ensure a safe, clean, and tidy work environment.
- Ensure the strict implementation of all local and corporate regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
Candidate Requirements
Skills And Competencies Required:
- Tertiary qualification in Operations Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in the field of Production/Manufacturing with at least 3 years at Management level.
Personal requirements:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, good judgement, and a decision-maker.
- Ability to communicate and operate at a Management Level.
- High level of integrity, people skills and process knowledge.
- Excellent computer literacy skills.
- Good interpersonal and public speaking skills.
