- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including trial balance entries, creditors, payroll, and debtors
- Manage financial invoices and related administrative tasks
- Oversee and process payslips
- Provide full support with bookkeeping or contribute to pre-sales activities, depending on candidate experience and skills
- Perform various ad-hoc accounting, finance, and administrative tasks to support the bookkeeper
- Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis
- Support month-end close activities and audits
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
- Highly proficient in English (typing, reading, speaking, emails, etc.)
- Must type quickly with exceptional accuracy in emails and invoices
- Prior HR experience is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills required
- Female candidates preferred for this role
- Must have a willingness to learn and serve
- Under 50 years of age
- Prior experience in renting, real estate, or a related contract management environment (e.g., insurance) is a major advantage
- Matric
- No specific qualifications required; experience is key
- Experience in rental or real estate is a significant advantage
- Candidates with experience in insurance or similar contract management environments are also suitable
- Experience with PayProp software is the top priority
- Proficiency in Pivot Tables is the second priority
- Familiarity with payroll software is a bonus
- Basic experience in bookkeeping or accounting (internships accepted)
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Salary: R10K - R15K
