An international company in the sector of technologies for the movement and management of water is searching for an Area Sales Manager.

Area Sales Manager (Technical) - Gauteng

Join this dynamic team within the pump industry. Be responsible for overseeing sales activities within the Gauteng area. Play a crucial role in growing and maintaining relationships with existing trade customers, developers, consulting engineers, and contractors within the pumping trade. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a strong technical sales background.

Responsibilities:

Business development
Relationship building
Sales strategy
Sales forecasting and reporting
Product knowledge and expertise
Customer support
Sales performance analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Budget management

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the pump trade industry or a related field. Experience working with developers, consulting engineers, and contractors is highly desirable.
Good understanding of the commercial building services, municipal, and industrial sectors in Gauteng.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the allocated territory as required.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
