Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Infrastructure Design Engineer to be based at one of their offices in Johannesburg.

Requirements:

·        ECSA registered as a Professional Electrical Engineer (PrEng)

·        Minimum 6 years post ECSA registration

·        Experience in HV transmission infrastructure and substation design, earthing systems to HV infrastructure, protection systems and SCADA design for HV infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

·        Acting as Senior Electrical Infrastructure design on all Building Services projects.

·        Manage and control all aspects of design and electrical work throughout the project.

·        Regular site visits to ascertain site progress, build quality, interface coordination issues etc.

·        Assisting the Business Development team and the relevant Executive in identifying opportunities for tendering, preparation of requests for proposals and full tender proposals, as well as assisting with proving content for tender submission.

·        Compile necessary reports for projects based on business requirements.
