We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to lead the financial operations of a leading car hire company. This role is ideal for a results-driven finance professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Senior Financial Manager

Location: Gauteng

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the full financial function of the company
Lead the consolidation of financial results at a group level
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards (SAICA/SAIPA)
Provide strategic financial insights to support key business decisions
Drive process improvements, cost efficiencies, and operational excellence
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Manage financial reporting and month-end processes
Work closely with the operational team to align financial strategies with business goals
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance

Qualifications and Skills:

BCom/BCom Honours in Accounting or Finance
SAICA/SAIPA qualified
Minimum of 5 years post-articles experience in a commercial environment, preferably at a group level
Strong expertise in consolidations
Experience in the car hire/automotive industry is highly advantageous
Proven track record of academic excellence, professional achievements, or awards
Advanced proficiency in financial software systems and Excel
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
