Group Financial Manager 

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Manager to join their team in Pretoria, Hazelwood. This role is ideal for a dynamic and driven individual who will play a key role in managing all group reporting, consolidating results, and ensuring the financial well-being of the group’s investment companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of group reporting and consolidation of group results.


• Overseeing the financial management of several small investment companies.


• Reporting directly to the CFO and supporting central finance functions.


• Managing tax calculations and returns for all group companies.


• Overseeing the team handling creditors, debtors, and banking:
  
  
  
  • 3 clerks in the Creditors team.
  
  
  • 1 clerk managing Debtors.
  
  
  • 1 clerk managing the Bank.
  
  
  
  


• Working closely with a Financial Accountant who will assist with the Trial Balances (TBs) and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

Requirements:

• CA (SA) qualification.


• 5 -10 years of relevant experience, with a focus on group reporting and consolidations.


• Strong leadership skills with experience in overseeing a finance team.


• In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.


• Ability to work from the office with flexibility but maintaining a regular in-office presence is essential.
