Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to:
• Set up and operate various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to fabricate and repair precision parts and tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics to determine machining operations required.
• Measure and inspect parts using various precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machinery and equipment, and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs, including material usage and scrap rates
• Collaborate with engineers and other production staff to develop and improve production processes and methods.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, and promptly report any accidents or incidents to management.
Candidate Requirements
• Oilfield experience would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience operating various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to use various precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauges.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with manual and CNC machine operation.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
