Vacancy: Sales Representative
Introduction:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Representative to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying their insurance needs, and developing and selling insurance products that meet those needs.
Job purpose:
As an Independent Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth for the company by identifying, acquiring, and retaining clients. You will leverage your sales expertise to build strong relationships with clients, understand their unique insurance needs, and provide tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification (Essential):
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- RE 5 Qualification with relevant FAIS credits
- Relevant Insurance qualification will be beneficial
Minimum Experience (Essential):
- 3- 5 Years proven experience as an Insurance Sales Representative
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
- Identify client insurance needs through effective questioning and needs analysis
- Develop and present customised insurance proposals
- Negotiate and close sales of insurance products
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activity
- Meet and exceed sales targets
Skills and Knowledge
- Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets
- Strong understanding of insurance products and principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Other:
- Proficient in Afrikaans
- Valid Driver’s license with own vehicle
- Salary: Market related
