Hire Resolve is actively seeking a qualified and dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team within the construction industry. This opportunity involves engaging on exciting projects while ensuring financial control and adherence to quality standards.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring that financial requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects.
• Analyze and evaluate contractor and supplier tenders.
• Monitor project expenses and track financial performance for budget compliance.
• Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders.
• Assist with contract documentation and negotiation efforts.
• Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential cost-saving measures.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on financial goals.
• Manage payments and final accounts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction sector.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., WinQS, CostX).
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, pricing, and procurement processes.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
