Job Description:

A leading UK-based mortgage consultancy is seeking a dedicated Mortgage Coordinator to streamline the mortgage process from start to finish. Once our qualified IFA/Mortgage Consultant has pre-approved a new client with a lender and secured a commitment to proceed, you will be assigned to guide the client through every step until the mortgage transaction is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Communication: Contact clients via phone or Zoom to introduce yourself and explain the mortgage process, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
• Document Management: Send clients a comprehensive shopping list of required documents, including bank statements, pay slips, proof of address/ID, employer references, and more. Verify the correct document list with specific lenders.
• Motivation and Follow-Up: Build rapport with clients and encourage the timely submission of documents. Review submitted materials for accuracy and completeness, identifying any discrepancies from the initial pre-approval.
• Application Submission: Upload the completed application to the lender's portal and maintain communication with the lender to monitor progress.
• Issue Resolution: Address any concerns raised by the lender and work collaboratively with clients to resolve issues promptly.
• Valuation Management: Oversee the valuation process of the property once underwritten, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Formal Offer Facilitation: Chase the lender for the formal mortgage offer, issue it to the client upon receipt of the final broker fee, and assist in coordinating with their solicitor to finalize the transaction.
