Our Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Management Section Lead to join a growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing complex construction projects, with a particular focus on marine works.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
• Provide expert guidance and support to the design team during the design phases.
• Develop and implement effective project management strategies and processes.
• Manage construction contracts, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered Professional Construction Manager or Registered Professional Engineer.
• Post-graduate degree or certification in construction project management (preferred).
• Proven experience in managing marine construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and NEC suite of contracts.
• Expertise in contract management, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and other office software.
