Job Description:

A leading manufacturer and distributor of automotive and industrial batteries are seeking a Quality Specialist. You will ensure that our manufactured products comply with both internal specifications and those communicated by our OEMs. You will play a vital role in effectively addressing any out-of-control conditions, ensuring nonconforming parts are segregated, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to rectify processes promptly. Your expertise in root cause analysis will be essential for resolving product quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Automotive Industry quality standards (IATF 16949) and OEM-specific requirements.
• Verify and validate implemented improvements and new product launches.
• Conduct Layered Process Audits and support area audit findings.
• Enhance internal supplier performance and support the Fast Response Team in addressing defects.
• Supervise Product/Process Inspectors and maintain control plans.
• Conduct Measurement System Analysis and monitor significant characteristics.
• Collaborate on defect reduction action plans and provide weekly reports to the QC Manager.
• Support customer complaint resolution and maintain a positive culture regarding health, safety, and environment.
