A leading manufacturer and distributor of automotive and industrial batteries are seeking a dynamic Retail Store Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the success of our retail store.

This role requires a strong leader with experience in driving sales, managing staff, and maintaining operational excellence.

 Location: Empangeni and Richards Bay, KZN

Key Responsibilities:

• Retail Store Management (50%)
• Implement strategic plans to achieve sales and operational targets.
• Ensure merchandise availability, pricing strategies, and promotions are aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain store security and compliance with safety standards.
• Compliance (10%)
• Ensure adherence to all internal controls and legal regulations.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing company policies.
• Customer Service Management (20%)
• Build and maintain effective customer relationships.
• Resolve customer issues promptly, maintaining high service standards.
• Staff Supervision (10%)
• Lead and manage a team including salespersons, store assistants, and other operational staff.
• Oversee staff performance, development, and training.
• Cost and Financial Control (10%)
• Monitor and manage store budget, ensuring costs are kept within financial guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce waste.
