We have a client with an amazing opportunity for a Wind Analyst based in Cape Town, Western Cape

Role: Wind Analyst
Industry: Renewable Energy
Level: Mid-Senior Level

Key Requirements:

•           Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification

•           Professional Engineering registration (Pr.Eng) is a plus

•           Proficiency in wind resource assessment tools such as Windographer, Windsim, and Openwind

•           Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting wind data using met masts and remote sensing devices

•           Strong background in optimization, energy yield assessments, and layout optimization

•           Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models and long-term correlation methods

•           Ability to manage and oversee wind campaigns and equipment procurement

•           Strong communication and teamwork abilities

•           Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to project management

•           Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including energy consultants and turbine manufacturers
