Employer: Datacentrix (Pty) Ltd
- A relevant 3-year degree or equivalent 3-year qualification
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in dealing with insurance systems and operational requirements.
- Strong understanding of Healthcare and /or Short-term insurance industry (compulsory)
- Oracle or PostgreSQL – writing/running queries (added advantage)
- MS Office Suite
- Advanced Excel
- Working experience in an ITIL based environment (added advantage)
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Risk mitigation planning
- Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required
- Creating system guidelines and manuals for the organisation
- Running training sessions and workshops on system processes
- Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
- Review problem reports, analyse and investigate using the appropriate tools.
- As required, resolve problem report, or utilize debug/datafix processes by applying knowledge of the system, interfaces and dependencies. Identify sets of stakeholders to be involved. Ensure that the documentation / breakdown of the issue is complete and fit for purpose.
- If required, revert to stakeholders if technical issues require business decisions to proceed and answer any queries from the development team.
- Liaise directly with developers, business analysts and development managers to arrive at solutions.
- Using technical skills, plan, code and quality check ad hoc reports as needed from business and management team
