My client is a leading logistics provider specializing in courier services and warehousing solutions. They ensure timely deliveries and secure handling, optimizing your supply chain with flexible options tailored to your needs. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Define and implement standard operating procedures for financial processes.
Provide insights on risks, inefficiencies, profitability, and opportunities by revenue stream and client.
Manage client costing, profitability, and credit risk in the commercial process.
Ensure accurate supplier invoicing for services or goods.
Monitor and report on budget variances to maximize financial performance.
Plan and oversee initiatives for customer service excellence.
Implement governance and compliance policies to manage risk.
Analyse and report on trends, discrepancies, and inconsistencies.
Develop plans for practice changes with priorities and resource allocation (1-2 years).
Ensure the timely preparation and submission of statutory returns.
Assist in budget setting, minimize expenditure, and manage costs effectively.
Advise on preventing financial wastage.
Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations, budgets, and forecasts
Build relationships with stakeholders to enhance customer service.

What Do You Need?:

A qualified CA(SA)
Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience in a respective industry
Strong business acumen and common sense
Great knowledge and skill set regarding the management of people, operations, tax, labour relations, budgeting and costs
