• Submit proposals or quotations to customers
• Capture customer rate cards on the ERP system, ensuring that the correct details are loaded and that deals are released and forwarded to sub-distributors on time
• Ensure the list price is updated as per the authorized mandate schedule
• To respond promptly to customer queries and requests
• Update rate cards for Depot, Transport and Warehouse
• Ensure that customers receive exceptional customer service
• Ensure customer applications and standard trading conditions are completed correctly when new customers are secured
• Maintain marketing material for circulation to customers
• Assist with tender submissions as required
• Prepare and provide reports to the line manager
• Maintain service provider and client information on an ongoing basis
• Attend customer and sales training meetings/sessions
• Obtain relevant desired results for ad hoc projects, prioritizing them with other regular activities
• Initiate personal growth and development
• Complete your performance review and attend to recommended training interventions
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Be available to assist with additional tasks or work overflow

• Matric with advanced computer literacy.
• Relevant Degree/Diploma in Logistics/Transport/Warehousing
• 3 – 5 years experience working in Sales marketing within the supply chain and logistics industry 
• Knowledge and experience of related computer applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Results and deadline-driven
• Ability to communicate at all levels (good interpersonal skills)
• Ability to work under pressure situations
• Innovative and quick thinker
• Demonstrate a methodological approach with the ability to prioritize work in meeting deadlines
