Bookkeeper Job Description 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Capturing data such as invoices
• Preparing management reports
• Assisting Accountants and Tax Consultants with administration and management reports
• Compiling working paper files
• E-filing
• Handling VAT and PAYE applications
• Preparing VAT, CIPC, and Tax Clearance Certificates
• Managing queries
• Handling Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
• Performing bank reconciliations, journal entries, and reports
• Assisting with payroll and general administrative tasks
• Providing excellent customer service with high work standards
