We are seeking a passionate and experienced Climate Change Associate to join our client’s team in Johannesburg. You’ll be working with a leading engineering firm to make a positive impact on climate change.

About the Role:

• Drive climate change business development and sales
• Manage complex climate change projects
• Develop climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies
• Conduct climate finance assessments and develop strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement climate action

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, development finance, environmental management, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
• 6+ years of experience in climate change practice or consulting
• Expertise in at least two of the following areas: climate finance, GHG emissions, climate risk and adaptation
• Proven experience in business development and client management
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and mathematical equations
