A well established Accounting firm based in Kenilworth is seeking a Accounting / Auditor.

Duties:

Supervising a monthly accounting department including preparation and review of monthly management accounts
Timely submission of statutory returns
Assisting clients with accounting and software support
Preparing and reviewing annual financial statements using IFRS for SME’S
Dealing with clients and Correspondence
Managing and training junior staff and SAIPA Trainees
completing working paper files
leading teams on audit / review engagements
managing daily staff movements, workflow and budgets
reporting to the audit supervisor /manager
client relationship development and various audit / review related duties.

Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

•    Matric (Grade 12)
•    B Comm with or without Honours or similar qualification
•    Completed SAICA articles to prepare working paper files and AFS
•    No government or Auditor General experience or very high salary expectations will not be considered
•    We are only interested in IFRS and no other experience
•    Company and individual tax knowledge (Essential)
•    Previous experience in similar industry
•    Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
•    Very high attention to detail
•    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
•    Own Transport (including a valid SA Drivers licence
