We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Manager to oversee the daily operations of our luxury 70-seater spa facility located in Kuils River in the Western Cape. The Spa Manager will be responsible for managing a team of spa therapists, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving revenue goals, and maintaining the overall quality and cleanliness of the spa. The Spa therapists will be both permanent and casual therapists and can be up to 80 therapists per day. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the spa industry, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing a spa or hotel operation. The Spa Manager will also be responsible for revenue generation, boosting sales and reaching targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the spa, including scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting
Recruit, train, and supervise a team of up to 80 spa therapists to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction
Develop and implement spa services and treatments based on market trends and customer demand
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop promotional strategies to drive revenue growth
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track the success of the spa operation
Maintain a clean and organized spa environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Handle customer complaints and provide timely resolution to ensure customer loyalty
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in order to continuously improve the spa operation

Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
A relevant tertiary qualification (in Hotel / Spa Management) will be an advantage, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the spa industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
Proven track record of achieving revenue goals and driving business growth
Knowledge of spa equipment and products
Certification in spa management or related field is a plus
