We are looking for an SME Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to bring in new business and develop new business from the existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.
What do Account Managers do?
The responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing reports as required by SME Manager. Account managers also resolve client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing clients. In this role, you will liaise with multiple internal teams (including Customer service, Vetting, Deal creation team to mention a few.) to give the best customer experience. This position may require occasional travel.
If you have relevant experience, we would like to meet you, Ideally, we need hunters, people who work hard, and aren’t afraid to approach corporates to build new opportunities from scratch.
Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should also collaborate with our stores sales consultants to achieve our SME targets and improve our Balance Scorecard, while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run.
Responsibilities:
· Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to all accounts you manage.
· Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
· Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating New Contract (Gas) and Upgrades to maximize profit.
· Hunting for New Business and being resourceful in way that you can grow your customer base.
· Processing all sales timeously to maintain the company’s standard founded on exceptional customer service.
· Report weekly on your pipeline and other job-related activities.
· Build your own work strategy which is inclined to the company’s strategy to play your part in reaching our monthly targets.

Candidate Requirements
· Proven work experience relating to the above role functions.
· Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive level.
· Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
· Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts/clients at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
· Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
NB: Preferred Candidates are those who have worked with SME / EBU in the Telecommunications industry (MTN,Vodacom,Telkom, Cellc , etc).
