Job Title: Maintenance and Engineering ManagerLocation: Paarl, Western CapeIndustry: Perimeter Fencing and Security SolutionsOur client, a leading international manufacturer of perimeter fencing and security solutions, is seeking a Maintenance and Engineering Manager to oversee the efficient operation of their facilities and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, managing mechanical and electrical breakdowns, and leading continuous improvement engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement maintenance strategies.
Diagnose equipment faults and initiate improvements or replacements.
Ensure availability of critical spares and consumables.
Oversee engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage maintenance team and contractors.
Ensure compliance with ISO Quality and ISO 14001 standards.

Requirements:

Relevant Engineering qualification (Red Seal Millwright/Electrician preferred, N5 minimum).
5+ yearsâ experience in a maintenance management role.
Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Experience with drives, PLCs, resistance welding, and powder coating advantageous.
Effective communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
