Opportunity for a Design Engineer to step into an exciting role within a World Class Manufacturing company.

Manufacturing Company who is setting international benchmarks in the automotive/aerospace industry is looking for a Manufacturing and Assembly Design Engineer to join the team. Design projects includes designing & detailing various elements, parts, and components e.g.:  Joinery components, including design for assembly and installation design thereof. Furthermore, manufacturing process design, tooling design, jig design, weight, and cost optimisation, and BOM creation.
 
Requirements:
Engineering Degree/Diploma (Mechanical or relevant Designing field)
Thorough understanding of tooling design
Thorough understanding of design for manufacturing
Working knowledge of SolidWorks is non-negotiable
Knowledge of AutoCAD
Proficient in Excel
Practical understanding and experience of Joinery construction
Must reside in Cape Town
