- Assigning Work: Distributing tasks to technicians to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all repair and maintenance work meets the required standards.
- Parts Management: Ordering and managing parts to ensure availability for repairs.
- Team Management: Coaching and supervising a team of technicians and apprentices, ensuring targets and business objectives are met.
- Customer Service: Liaising with customers to provide estimates, set timescales, and ensure satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards, as well as manufacturer and company policies.
- Documentation: Accurately recording technician time and writing technical reports and recommendations.
- Problem Solving: Assisting technicians with technical challenges and identifying solutions
Qualifications
- Matric certificate is a minimum
- Additional qualifications will assist your application
- Valid driver’s license
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Fully computer Literate
