- Process tenant trust deposits and payments.
- Administer Third-Party Fund investments.
- Perform rent reconciliation and journal entries.
- Manage landlord expenses, including utility payments (e.g., municipal accounts and SARS submissions).
- Capture tenant trust payments and receipts.
- Reconcile municipal utility accounts payable by tenants.
- Process legal expenses and fees from bad debtors.
- Record supplier expenses and VAT payable by landlords.
- Reconcile business account receipts, payments, and invoices.
- Reconcile landlord accounts to ensure accurate reporting of outstanding balances.
- Address and resolve queries related to debtor aging reports.
- Facilitate payment arrangements with debtors.
- Oversee the handover of bad debtors to attorneys for collections.
- Provide reports to senior management.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of property-related processes within the portfolio.
- Foster positive relationships with landlords and tenants.
- Liaise with municipalities, contractors, and suppliers as needed.
- Assist with data processing tasks as required.
- Assist with lease administration, including drafting offers to lease and preparing lease agreements.
- Communicate with tenants to obtain FICA documentation.
Purpose of the Position
The Financial/Property Administrator will oversee monthly MDA financial accounting, data capturing, credit control, and other administrative functions as required. The role involves managing tenant and landlord accounts, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting leasing and general administrative duties.

Required Skills
- Property: 4 to 5 years
- Bookkeeping/Accounting: 4 to 5 years
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experience in property administration, credit control, or data capturing (preferred).
- Proficiency in MDA software (preferred).
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
