The Scope of this position is to ensure export bookings are in place and all documentation is completed accurately.

Overview and Responsibilities 

• To prepare export customs and shipping documentation accurately and make bookings accordingly.
• To control the export files for the week.
• Receive requests from clients and respond in a courteous, friendly, and helpful manner.
• Prepare documents accurately and in accordance with client requirements.
• These documents must be sent to the client immediately upon completion.
• Ensure airfreight instructions are complete for all shipments.
• Export files must be checked and signed.
• Ensure shipments are completed and in time to make the airline cut-offs.
• Co-ordinate General Cargo, Perishable Cargo and DGR goods packaging with respective service providers.
• Client must be notified and kept updated at all times.
• Complete specific tasks allocated to you efficiently.
• Co-ordinate collections and deliveries with the warehouse and/or respective service providers.
• Work diligently in order to complete the day’s work within normal working hours.
• Any other reasonable requests.
• Fully comply with the Company Health & Safety policy.
• Fully comply with the Company Security Regulations.
• Fully comply with Company handling procedures.
• Implement and adhere to policies and procedures as directed in the Company Employee Handbook
• Carry out any other reasonable task as requested by your manager.
• Work diligently to complete the day’s work within normal working hours.
