Lead Generation and Marketing:
- Develop and execute strategies for lead generation and business opportunity identification.
- Utilise methods such as cold calling, networking events, targeted marketing campaigns, and digital marketing channels to generate leads and expand the client base.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, promotional content, and branding strategies to support business development efforts and elevate brand recognition.
Networking and Collaboration:
- Engage in networking activities with other funders, industry associations, and relevant stakeholders to foster collaboration, exchange best practices, and explore potential partnerships.
Market Intelligence and Strategic Planning:
- Stay updated on major infrastructure project developments in the country, including projects such as the Tzaneen Dam project, the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone (RBIDZ), and various major Capex Government Programs.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, market trends, and potential threats.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand business reach.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strategic relationships with government departments, industry bodies, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate business initiatives and partnerships.
- Ensure registration and active participation with relevant industry bodies to enhance industry visibility and credibility.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and oversee the performance of the business development team.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Set clear goals and targets for the team and monitor progress towards achieving them.
Event Planning and Management:
- Organize and oversee networking events, trade shows, conferences, and other industry-related gatherings to showcase our funding services, generate leads, and nurture business connections.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution and maximum impact.
