Our client with various citrus packhouses throughout South Africa has the following position available for a self-driven candidate to manage the packing facility and related quality and protocol measures, operational teams, and processes at their Packhouse in the Nelspruit area.

CITRUS PACKHOUSE MANAGER

NELSPRUIT AREA

Requirements:

-        Relevant qualification in Agriculture/ Business Development/Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

-        5 - 10 years’ experience in a Packhouse Manager role or similar role within the food, beverages, or manufacturing facility.

-        Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, SIZA, and Global Gap Accreditation.

-        Excellent leadership and people management skills - practical experience in handling people at all levels and a strong record of achievement through building successful teams.

-        Able to work in a highly competitive collaborative market space.

-        The ability to plan and execute in a structured manner is essential.

-        Must be willing and prepared to work long hours and overtime
