What is the key purpose of the role? Tracking and expediting of vehicles on route to various offloading points.
KPIs, expected work and expected outcomes:
Key responsibilities
• Follow up and expediting of vehicles
• Reporting of all discrepancies to the relevant Operations Controller and department
• Capturing of necessary issue related information on the TMS (Claims, Pallets etc.)
• Tracking and capturing of information regarding CHEP pallets
• Capturing of all arrival and departure times at loading and offloading points
• Ad Hoc queries from Operations Controller or client
• Assisting assigned operator with daily activities
Expected outcomes:
• On time reporting of vehicle position and ETA to customer and assigned operator
• Accurate information supplied to Imperial Managed Solutions claims department to drive efficiency in claims process
• Maintaining communication with management and colleagues to promote efficiency and to ensure irregularities are highlighted
• Maintain good working relationship with colleagues and clients
• Accurate reporting on CHEP pallets and turnaround times
• Meeting deadlines (KPI’s etc.)
Problem-solving and innovation:
Value add and continuous improvement on current processes and procedures

Level of decision making required to ensure the effective day to day operation of the Operations department. Decisions that might have any impact on deliveries to be escalated to the relevant Operations Controller.
