The Internal Sales Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the Managing Director and the sales team. This individual will be responsible for various administrative duties, such as managing the MD’s diary, setting up sales meetings, and providing support to the sales department. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Managing Director with administrative tasks, including managing and updating his diary.
- Schedule, coordinate, and set up sales meetings and appointments.
- Act as the point of contact between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders.
- Maintain sales records, update databases, and prepare reports as needed.
- Handle sales-related queries and provide exceptional support to the sales team.
- Process orders, handle inquiries from clients, and ensure all sales documentation is up to date.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with preparing sales presentations and proposals.
- Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar administrative or sales support role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or mining industry environment is an advantage.
