Payroll Administrator
Area: Roodepoort, Gauteng
Package: Basic salary R32500, plus Medical Aid, Provident Fund, 13th cheque
Purpose of the position: You will be responsible for a number of business units including all associated activities to deliver a value-adding, cost-effective and customer-focused payroll service to the business and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Duties:
· Monthly group payroll administration – 400 employees
· Processing of weekly and bi-weekly wages for 200 employees
· Generating monthly reports
· Maintaining of People System, setup of GLs and mapping
· Investigating discrepancies in payroll
· Provident Fund administration and reconciliation
· Bargaining Council Administration -NBCFRLI; BCMT and BCRCAT
· Department of Labour mid-year and year-end audits
· Annual submission of Return of Earnings to workman’s Compensation, registration of new companies, de-registration of old companies
· Submission of IODs to Workmans Compensation and RMAs and the administration related to the claim
