Our client has an amazing opportunity for a Lead Electrical Engineer

Key Requirements:

·        Qualifications:

o   BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in power systems studies preferred.

o   Professional registration with ECSA.

·        Experience:

o   6+ years of practical experience in the electrical/consulting industry, including 3 years in power system studies (PowerFactory, ETAP, CDEGS).

o   Knowledge of substation equipment and structures up to 500 kV.

o   Basic experience in renewable energy design, LV and Secondary Plant, and overhead line design (PLS-CADD).

Skills:

Proficiency in EMT simulation software

Network simulation software (PowerFactory, ETAP, PSSE/PSCAD),

Project management tools (MS Projects).

Experience with grid code compliance, transmission planning, and various power system studies.

Personal Attributes:

•           Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•           Clear understanding of local functional business technologies and markets.

•           Knowledge of project management principles and software
