Role Summary
Our Client, a prominent short-term insurance firm is in the market for a Business Development Consultants who will play a crucial role in achieving business targets for motor and household domestic insurance. The incumbent should be a self-motivated professional who can work independently or collaboratively to provide expert advice and write policies.
key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation
- Source ample opportunities for at least 10 client quotes weekly and 40 monthly.
- Regularly update the Lead Generation Matrix.
Policy Writing
- Achieve a minimum of 8.5 written policies per month.
Client Interaction
- Conduct thorough needs analyses when clients request quotes.
- Provide professional advice to clients.
Referral Agent Network
- Enlist a minimum of 5 active lead referral agents.
Reporting
- Compile weekly reports detailing leads, quotes, sales, and relevant information.
- Include data such as lead sources, average premium, and total premium.
Product Knowledge
- Stay informed about product comparisons with competitors.
- Keep up-to-date with Short-term product changes and enhancements.
Compliance
- Ensure all activities adhere to insurance regulations and professional guidelines.
- Uphold ethical standards.
Continuous Learning
- Maintain relevant skills and knowledge for specialized advice.
- Stay informed about developments in relevant business areas.
Professionalism
- Adhere to the required dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
Benefits
Starting salary of R15 000 CTC per month (with exceptions for candidates who can prove current earnings far exceed our basic), Uncapped commission.
