PURPOSE OF ROLE
To provide 1st Level Support for ERP/Business systems (Technical and Functional), including support and maintenance for Lesedi ERP Systems. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of ERP applications and related systems across all sites.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- ERP Application support (full lifecycle) for all relevant modules used by the business
- Management of Middle Tier system and Buildplace for ERP
- 2nd and 3rd level support escalation and communication to resolution
- Licensing management for applications and databases
- API Integration and Mobility solutions
- Training and documentation management
- Contract Management and Reporting
- Scripting and user account management
- Building and maintaining local knowledgebase
QUALIFICATION
- Relevant Degree or 3-year IT Diploma
- ITIL certification
- Intermediate Excel skills
- ERP experience or certifications (Advantage)
- Business Analysis Certification (Advantage)
- Project Management Certification (Advantage)
- Primavera/Project software support experience (Advantage)
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year of working experience
- ERP Service Desk Support
- Maintaining print and email services via ERP/Business applications
- Role profile and license management
- Database support
- Multisite support
- Training and induction of staff
- ERP support and order processing
- ERP module implementation
COMPETENCIES
Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of ERP systems (IFS ERP knowledge is an advantage)
- Familiarity with business process documentation and improvement
- Understanding of big data concepts and the 6 V's (volume, variety, velocity, value, veracity, and variability)
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data protection practices
- Awareness of IT Asset Management principles
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in maintaining and updating business process documents
- Ability to assist in policy and procedure development
- Capability to manage and analyze structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data
- Skill in setting up efficient data-driven KPIs and smart reporting
- Proficiency in providing ERP support and working with support partners/OEM
