Join a prestigious project and contribute to infrastructure development in South Africa! Our client is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer to join their team on the Mtentu Bridge project in Bizana, Eastern Cape. This is a significant SANRAL project and is expected to last four years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design and construction of major civil engineering works, with a focus on large bridges.
• Contribute to the construction of a balanced cantilever and incremental launch bridge.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer registration with ECSA or equivalent international qualification
• 15+ years of experience in the design and construction of major civil engineering works
• Experience in balanced cantilever bridge construction (strongly preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Willingness to work full-time on-site
