Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Technical Data Analyst opportunity with one of our top tier, innovative banking clients, based in Sandton. In this role, you will be the enabler of the data life cycle within an enterprise environment. Be responsible for profiling the source data and completing the relevant mapping procedures to enable the data integration between source system and the Line of Business (LOB) systems

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (STEM degree), or related field essential.
Skills & Experience
- 5 yrs.+ experience in Technical Data Analysis and Profiling essential
- Solid SQL experience essential, coupled with familiarity with various databases – Hadoop, Teradata, Db2, Oracle, Netezza, DBeaver, Denodo etc. – pref.
- Banking or financial services industry very pref.
- Enterprise Data Warehousing experience 0 i.e. DAMA / Kimball etc - pref
- Dimension Data Modelling experience – Data Marts (Snowflake, Star Schemas etc) - pref
- Python . R exposure pref
- Adobe Martech stack – pref
- Microsoft Azure / AWS / Cloud products – pref
- Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 pref
