Employer: The Workforce Group (Pty) Ltd
- Manage the entire regions finance function including financial accounting and budgetary control
- Preparation of the region’s budget
- Preparation and advanced analysis if monthly management accounts (Profit and Loss Statements)
- Resolve queries related to management accounts timeously
- Ensure effective supervision of finance staff
- Generate a range of monthly finance reports for upstream and downstream communication
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of accounting information recorded in the regions Trial Balance
- Manage and control the debtors and creditors function for the region
- File and maintain finance related records
- Ensure compliance to all company policies
- Monitor and report increased input cost on sensitive margin clients
- Compile client feasibility reports and client specific Profit and Loss Statement
- Responsible for representing the Company in meetings as and when required
- Assist with all adhoc reporting requests
Candidate Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Management Accounting
- 2 years’ experience in a financial role coupled with a minimum of 2 years in an administrative role
- Experience in the full finance function
- Ability to read and analyse financial Profit and Loss Statement and Budgets
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of the remaining programs in the MS suite
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to manage staff
- Ability to analyse data from a range of sources with a view to formulate and communicate financial risk present or inherent
- Strong communication skills, including ability to articulate complex business issues in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to identify problems and implement an action plan to resolve
