About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our finance team team! You will be an integral part of a foundational team dedicated to achieving one of our most important strategic aims: the quality and accuracy of bookkeeping matters in line with IFRS standards.
Role & Responsibilities
You Will Be:
• Recording Financial Transactions: Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts,
and payments.
• Maintaining Ledgers: Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting
transactions.
• Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and
discrepancies are resolved.
• Payroll Processing: Manage payroll by calculating pay, withholding taxes, and ensuring employees are paid on time.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Track money owed to the company (accounts receivable) and money the
company owes to others (accounts payable).
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure
documentation is stored securely.
Skills & Experience
You have: -
A relevant tertiary qualification – SAIPA/ CIMA advantageous
3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role – global experience advantageous
A keen eye for detail
A go-getter personality
A passion for continuous improvement and automation
