Our client, the well established Keerweder Farm and Guest Accommodation destination, has the abovementioned position available for a process-driven Office Administrator with an accurate approach to work, to assist the Directors with all office- and admin related tasks.
The Office Administrator will be responsible for: *Daily Communication: Manage daily email correspondence for the Directors *Payments: Execute payments as instructed by the owners *Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations using Excel *Invoicing: Prepare and send a set of monthly recurring invoices *Salaries and Wages: Collaborate with external payroll company by verifying and submitting employee hours, and reviewing payslips *Maintain accurate filing and handle general office administration duties *Oversee Siza and GlobalGap audit registrations and manage related administrative tasks in coordination with external consultants *Administer statutory payments such as PAYE, Agriseta, Employment Equity, and maintain the farm’s training registers *Enter journals from invoices and other payments into Pastel for processing, and manage general journals and bank reconciliations *General admin work and all other functions related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric, with at least 2-5 years experience in a similar Office Admin position;
• Ability to work independently and alone in the Admin office, with daily interaction with the Directors;
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, especially Excel and e-mail correspondence).
