We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Research and Development (R&D) Deputy to join their innovative team. What we're looking for?
- National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
- B-Tech degree (Operations/Quality/Chemistry)
- 8-10 years’ experience in a laboratory
- 3-5 years supervisory experience
- Advanced MS Office Skills
- Must be familiar with laboratory instrumentation
- Excellent Communication Skills
You'll stand out if you have experience with the following core tasks:
- Create and update Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in the SAP system.
- Develop and maintain laboratory test methods.
- Coordinate hourly reporting for the R&D department.
- Source, evaluate, and qualify laboratory equipment.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Maintain and update formulations and specifications for existing products, ensuring accuracy in the specification master.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret test results.
- Prepare technical reports, graphs, or charts to document experimental findings.
- Assist with lab equipment calibration and related administrative tasks, including filing Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for raw materials.
- Provide support to the Chief Chemist and perform additional tasks as assigned.
