Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Nelspruit

Play a critical role in overseeing the design, fabrication and installation or engineering projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet their high standards.

Minimum requirements and experience:

BEng (Mechanical Engineering)
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management.
Proven working experience in designing and installing industrial equipment or processing facilities
Proven experience in the following areas: Sheet Metal design, Structural design and General factory/ plant layout designs.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design software: SolidWorks
Excellent Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on approach to engineering challenges.

Responsibilities:

Design and Engineering:

Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications for processing equipment and facilities; Perform engineering calculations, simulations and analysis to validate design choices.

2. Project Management:

Lead mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including design and procurement.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
