An international company operating in the Information Technology, Transport & Logistics industry has a vacancy for a Sales Coordinator to join their Sales & Marketing Team. The primary purpose of this role is to streamline sales activities, enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the sales function. The Sales Coordinator serves as a key link between the Head of Sales, sales team, customers, and other internal departments, facilitating smooth communication and coordination to achieve sales targets and objectives.
This is a permanent in-house position with medical aid, provident fund, group life, annual performance-based bonus, company laptop, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and preparing documents and presentations.
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and quotations.
- Communicate with customers to provide information, resolve queries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Sales reporting - compiling, summarizing, and organizing company sales information.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric essential
- Business Management/Project Management/Sales Diploma/Degree/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport essential
- At least 3 years of relevant Sales Coordinator work experience (current or previous experience in customer or consumer-focused role)
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) and experience with BI/Business intelligence tools (Cognos, Power BI, etc)
- Experience in developing sales reporting procedures to track key metrics, identify patterns in sales data, and inform overall sales strategies
- Strong attention to detail: Ability to accurately manage and organize sales-related information, documents, and activities.
- Customer-centric approach: Dedication to providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers
- Team player: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and support the sales team in achieving targets
- Problem-solving skills: Capacity to identify issues and develop practical solutions to ensure smooth sales operations
