Job Title: Vending Assistant
Location: Pinelands
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Vending Assistant. The Vending Assistant will be responsible for restocking vending machines, maintaining cleanliness and organization in vending areas, and providing excellent customer service to vending machine users. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restock vending machines with snacks, beverages, and other products as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in vending areas, including removing trash and keeping machines clean
- Ensure vending machines are working properly and report any maintenance issues to the Vending Manager
- Assist customers with vending machine transactions, including providing change and resolving any issues
- Monitor inventory levels and notify Vending Manager when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for customers
- Keep accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and maintenance issues
- Assist with special promotions or events as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
