- Provide administrative support to various departments within the company, including onboarding and out-boarding of clients (training will be provided);
- Act as the primary point of contact for all CIPC-related matters, including registering and updating company information, submitting annual returns, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, such as UBO submissions;
- Prepare and file necessary documents and forms with the CIPC in a timely and accurate manner;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all company information is accurate and up-to-date in the CIPC database;
- Handle Workmen's Compensation tasks, including COID reconciliations and registration submissions;
- Manage UIF tasks, including registration changes and maintaining accurate records with the UIF office.
- Assistance with drafting of Last Will and Testaments (training will be provided).
- Assistance with drafting of Trust documents and changes (training will be provided).
- Perform ad hoc bookkeeping tasks (beneficial but not required).
We are an accounting firm seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Worker to join our team as a Company Secretarial Officer (CIPC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks and experience handling Company Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) matters within an accounting firm. This is not an office-based position—the candidate will be required to work remotely. Hardware and software will be supplied. Payment at an hourly rate.

- Administration: 10 years or more
- Working With CIPC: 10 years or more
- Working With Department Of Employment And Labour (Beneficial): 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
- Matric certificate;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar administrative role at an accounting firm, with specific experience working with the CIPC;
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience and/or certificates in Pastel, Pastel Payroll, and Sage will be an added benefit.
- Previous work with the Master of the High Court will be an added benefit but not a requirement.
