Responsibilities
- Work with Electrical Systems Engineers and Technicians on projects to produce detailed electrical and civils drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Knowledge and experience with industrial electrical equipment.
- Understanding of electrical circuitry and designs.
- Create drawings for wiring systems, circuit layouts, and general assembly diagrams.
- Develop PID drawing packages.
- Ensure drawings meet IEC standards and comply with SOPs and ISO documentation.
- Enforce the use of IEC drawing standards and maintain drawing structures and borders.
- Attend drawing reviews and update revisions and corrections as needed.
- Control access to engineering drawing tools to prevent misuse or maladministration.
- Manage indexing and archiving of drawings.
- Maintain up-to-date symbol libraries and project folders.
- Designs in Revit MEP & AutoCAD
- Exposure to BIM would be an advantage
Candidate Requirements
Requirements
- Draughting diploma required.
- Must have a multi-disciplinary Draughting National certificate.
- Electrical trade test beneficial.
