- Develop and maintain relationships with key technology partners and vendors

- Conducts End User training sessions for new and current technologies
- Coordinates, plans and liaises with Project Managers for successful execution of IT related client projects
- Provides support/operations ownership of Virtual Infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V) technology.
- Provides support/operations ownership of Senior Level Messaging support.
- Provides support/operations ownership of Microsoft Stack (AD, SQL, Sharepoint, System Center) applications
- Creates, Manages and Support Desktop Support Solutions.
- Responsible for service issue escalations and coordinates efforts with other teams and vendors.
- Works with the management team to coordinate the deployment and use of various tools to improve the end user experience.
Reporting to the Manager of Service Delivery, the IT Engineer will act as a senior resource within the service group. This role includes working in solo capacity as well as within a group to resolve end user related issues. The candidate must be considered a team player and have excellent communication skills.
Working closely with other IT teams and outsourced IT partners the successful candidate will create and implement technical solutions that increase the end user experience and lower support costs.
The role combines some project participation and operations support. The Customer Service Approach is a key factor in being successful in this role. This role will have a very high degree of exposure to end users where you will be troubleshooting requests over the phone and on customer sites.
The successful candidate needs to be well-organized, systematic problem-solver with a proven ability to communicate ideas and establish trust with end users. Previous IT delivery experience is required to ensure the company continues to provide best in class and cost-effective services to our customers

Candidate Requirements
- Virtualizartion platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V).
- Relational DB administration (SQL).
- Experience in one or more cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS).
- High-Level Networking troubleshooting and administration experience (Enterprise appliances Cisco, Fortinet etc.)
- Extensive experience with administrating and troubleshooting Microsoft 365.
- Capable of identifying root causes from repeated issue patterns.
- Capable of suggesting improvements for network and server infrastructures to management and clients.
- Expert level experience with active directory, domains and general systems administration across multiple versions of Windows Server.
- Some experience with Linux would be beneficial but not a requirement.
- Some experience with cloud migration and other projects would be beneficial.

- The management is generally hands-off in their management style. You are given your roles, and it will be up to you to take it on without the need for micro-management. Timesheets and communication channels are in place to monitor performance and provide support to you.
- You would be working an 8-5 on the PST time zone.
- You need to have solid internet (this will be tested) and capable of keeping your home computer hardware online throughout loadshedding.
