We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, experienced whole rounded food Manufacturing Capability Manager to spearhead our current transformation & upgrade, expansion efforts and develop and drive world standard manufacturing excellence within our manufacturing facility. The role possesses a strong background in manufacturing operations, project management, coaching and influencing skills, and strategic planning. They will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing capabilities starting with optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless execution of our expansion plans, automation, with world class levels of control and compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance manufacturing capabilities in line with the company's expansion goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and optimization across multiple product categories.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential export opportunities in the Middle East market.
- Obtain global best practices in manufacturing and implement the same efficiently and effectively within the organization.
- Develop a whole rounded talent identification process coupled with talent development & retention plans in collaboration with HR function and plant leadership to enable nurture talent from within to enable succession planning.
2. Manufacturing & Quality Excellence:
- Influence monthly manufacturing plans & operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and develop conversion cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs ex: OEE and manufacturing waste) and develop action plans to address any areas of improvement.
3. Project Management:
- Lead and manage projects related to capacity expansion, process improvements, and technology upgrades.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution and successful completion of projects.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and resources to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
4. Manufacturing team capability development:
- Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in line with business requirements.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Quality standard process enhancement, controls and compliance:
- Strengthen robust quality assurance systems to uphold product quality and safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments such as R&D, supply chain optimization, and market plant enhancement initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to support business objectives.
- Remain in touch with global machinery development, global news on category manufacturing, and more importantly remain up to date with quality standards evolution (example: BRGCS Issue#9, etc..)

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing operations management, spreads or condiments manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully leading projects and driving operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Experience in export operations and international market expansion is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools and manufacturing ERP systems.
