Employer: Time Personnel
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid SANC qualification/certificate
- 5 years post qualification experience working in hospitals and aged care facility
- Compassionate and highly professional relationship builder with residents
- Vaccination ESSENTIAL
- Ensure all residents receive optimal care
- Organization of the maximum utilization of personnel on shift.
- Orientation of new personnel members.
- Effective administration
- Keeping record systems up to date.
- Delegating duties in accordance with her subordinates’ scope of practice and capabilities
- Communication by ensuring Management is informed of relevant incidents and problems requiring attention.
- Counselling personnel and relatives and friends of residents.
- Roll call
- Taking over from day staff.
- Reading of residents cardex (report)
- Delegating work to nurses.
- Dispensing of medicine
- Dressings where or if necessary.
- Ensuring nurses do their jobs properly.
- Safety of residents.
- Safety of building (premises).
