Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and building long-term relationships with key clients. They will work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective promotion of the company's offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share
2. Identify and qualify new sales leads through networking, industry events, and targeted outreach
3. Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, pitches, and presentations
4. Negotiate contracts and ensure timely renewals with existing clients
5. Collaborate with the operations team to understand product capabilities and pricing
6. Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to the leadership team
7. Participate in the development of marketing materials and sales collateral
8. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and client needs
9. Provide mentorship and guidance to the sales team, as needed
Required Skills
- Sales Experience: 5 to 6 years
- Tourism: 5 to 6 years
- Hospitality And Events: 5 to 6 years
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
3. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
4. Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
5. Thorough understanding of destination management services and the travel industry
6. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales enablement tools
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
8. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or similar
